Day 110

Brian and I took about a week and a half off of the renovations. So, I haven’t had much progress to tell you about. But, in the past week his parents were in town and spent some time working on their unit downstairs.

Patty painted the windows and front door with a fresh coat (or 3!) of white paint. This made a huge difference!

They also hired someone to re-glaze their bathtub and it looks fantastic!

They plan on installing new fixtures (faucet, shower head, etc) and a new vanity during a future visit.

Yesterday, Brian and I started working in the attic again. We have not worked up there in about 7 weeks, and we have a long ways to go. We are trying to finish those storage closets and start to move all of our stuff in there so we can install flooring and finish the ceiling. Here are some recent pics:

Days 96-99

We have finally moved all of our boxes from downstairs up into our kitchen AND we unpacked them! Our kitchen is finally in order! Plus we picked up our new kitchen table on Monday evening and stained/ whitewashed it. I love how it turned out!

Brian caulked around the bead board and the backsplash, and finished installing the vent good. We still need to finish the crown molding around the tops of the cabinets, and paint around the door and window, as well as inside the corner shelf cabinet (above peninsula)

We also need to get back into the bathroom to mud the drywall and paint the walls, door, and trim. Then we can move on to the attic and our yard 🙂
